Lobuche East Peak 6119m

Lobuche East (6,119 meters / 20,075 feet) is a stunning mountain peak located in the Everest (Khumbu) region of Nepal. It offers an exciting challenge for mountaineers who have a good level of fitness and some mountaineering experience, as it requires both trekking and technical climbing skills. The peak is part of the Lobuche massif, and the summit offers unparalleled views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and other surrounding peaks.

While Lobuche East is a “Trekking Peak” in Nepal (meaning it is considered accessible to trekkers with no prior technical climbing experience), the ascent still requires the use of ice axes, crampons, ropes, and harnesses. It’s a great step up for those who have previously trekked at high altitudes (like Everest Base Camp) and want to take on a challenge that involves climbing a peak over 6,000 meters.
