Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft), Nepal’s vibrant capital.
Transfer to your hotel, rest, and prepare for the trek ahead.
Orientation and Shopping in Thamel
Orientation meeting with your guide. Spend the day shopping for any final trekking supplies in the bustling Thamel district.
Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding
Flight: Take a scenic flight to Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft) – the gateway to the Everest region (30 minutes).
Trek: Begin your trek from Lukla to Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft), a peaceful village along the Dudh Koshi River (3-4 hours).
Trek to Namche Bazaar
Continue your trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft), the main trading hub of the Everest region (5-6 hours).
Enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, including Thamserku and Kongde.
Rest Day / Trek to Khumjung
Take a well-deserved rest day for acclimatization.
Optional short hike to Khumjung (3,790m/12,434ft), a traditional Sherpa village, for a taste of local life.
Explore Khumjung Monastery and learn about Sherpa culture.
Trek to Dole
Trek from Namche to Dole (4,200m/13,780ft) through beautiful forests of pine and rhododendron, crossing several small villages (5-6 hours). Enjoy stunning views of the mountains as you approach Dole.
Trek to Machhermo
Trek from Dole to Machhermo (4,470m/14,663ft), passing through several yak herders’ settlements (4-5 hours). Enjoy the dramatic views of Cho Oyu and Kantega.

Trek to Gokyo
Continue your trek to Gokyo (4,790m/15,715ft), a serene village situated beside the turquoise Gokyo Lakes (5-6 hours). Take in the spectacular mountain scenery as you approach Gokyo.
Trek to Tragnag
Climb Gokyo Ri 5,357 m, 17,575 ft and Back to Gokyo, Trek to Tragnag (4,700m/15,420ft) along the side of the Gokyo Valley (4-5 hours).
Tragnag offers beautiful views of the nearby mountains and is the starting point for your next leg towards Everest Base Camp.
Trek to Dzongla
Continue your trek to Chola Pass 5,420 metres 17,782 ft, and Trek to Dzongla (4,830m/15,850ft), a small settlement with stunning views of the surrounding peaks (6-7 hours).
Dzongla is a great acclimatization point before heading towards Lobuche and Everest Base Camp.
Trek to Lobuche
Trek from Dzongla to Lobuche (4,940m/16,207ft), a small settlement offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains (5-6 hours).
Trek to Everest Base Camp and Return to Gorakshep
Today, you will trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,593ft), the legendary base camp of the highest mountain in the world (7-8 hours).
Enjoy the dramatic views of Khumbu Icefall and the surrounding peaks.
Return to Gorakshep (5,180m/16,990ft) for an overnight stay.
Trek to Dingboche
Climb Kala Patthar (5,545m/18,192ft) for a stunning panoramic view of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

At The Lift Himalaya Treks and Expedition Pvt. Ltd., we strive to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for all our clients. To ensure clarity and mutual understanding, please review our payment and cancellation policies below:
Deposit Requirement:
A 50% deposit of the total package cost is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Full payment details will be provided during the booking process.
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations made more than 60 days before the trek start date: A 30% fee will be deducted from your deposit to cover international banking fees and administrative charges.
- Cancellations made less than 60 days before the trek start date: 50% of the total package cost will be refunded.
- If the full package cost has already been paid, 70% of the deposit will be refunded. Refunds will be processed within 90 days of cancellation.
Refund Processing:
Refunds will be issued via the original payment method. Please note that depending on your bank’s processing times, it may take up to 90 days for the refund to appear in your account.
Force Majeure and Special Circumstances:
In cases of force majeure (such as natural disasters, political instability, or other unforeseen events), special terms may apply. Refunds in such cases will be handled on an individual basis.
